In the second quarter of 2022, the leading medical apps on the Android platform in Latin America showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an overview based on data from Sensor Tower.

Meu SUS Digital from Serviços e Informações do Brasil had a dynamic quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at approximately 285K in late March and decreasing to around 173K by the end of June. Active users saw a similar trend, beginning with around 2.35M and ending with roughly 1.77M.

Blood Pressure App: Bp Monitor by Desarrollos Técnicos, which launched in April 2022, experienced a strong growth phase. Weekly downloads peaked at 63K in early June but tapered off to 22K by the end of the month. Revenue followed a steady increase, reaching around $52 in the first week of June. Active users increased significantly, peaking at approximately 92K in early June before slightly declining to 65K by the end of the quarter.

Farmacias del Ahorro experienced a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 18K at the end of March and rising to 34K by the end of June. Active users also saw a steady rise, from around 86K to approximately 105K over the same period.
